Dear Adagio Family,
We hope you have been enjoying your summer vacation, getting outside in the beautiful weather, making memories with your families!
As the fall approaches, so does the return to school, and the return to dance. Though there is still so much division in people's opinions on school opening vs remote learning, sports and activities, etc. We hope you are all staying peaceful in these stressful times, and finding solutions that are the best fit for your family.
As for Adagio, we want to be there for our dancers and for the community - as a place for children (and adults!) to go to have fun, see their peers, and do something they love to do... DANCE! We worked so hard last year to open the new studio location, build our enrollment, worked even harder to keep Adagio alive during lockdown, and then worked hard AGAIN to film and produce our Virtual Recital. That's a lot of work... and we don't want to give up now! So, we are moving forward with registration and hoping that everyone will want to KEEP DANCING with us!
As always, the health and safety of our faculty and students are high priority for us at Adagio. Our studio will be as safe as it can be, with cleaning and disinfecting protocols, physically distant spacing, mask requirements, closed lobby, and several other policies in place to keep everyone safe. Class sizes will be limited, and dancers will have their designated spots and in a physically distanced grid and markers throughout the studios.
For those who are not comfortable coming in to the studio yet, we still have our Virtual Studio ready to go, which will allow for participation at home. This can also help if someone can't make it to class one day, and could even help during snow days!
In conclusion... Adagio is moving forward. We are ready to keep our dancers moving and grooving, and giving them an activity to look forward to, especially with school being remote again. We hope you will be moving forward with us. LET'S DANCE!
